Not Achieved The Target, Only 53 Thousand DKI Health Workers Have Been Vaccinated With COVID-19
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that there were 53 thousand health workers who had undergone the COVID-19 vaccination.
"In the process, there have been 53 thousand health workers who have been vaccinated," said Riza at the DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 29.
However, this has not yet reached the target of DKI Pemprov in implementing vaccination. This is because the first stage of injection starting January 14 has targeted 60 thousand health workers to undergo the first dose of vaccination before injection of the second dose.
In fact, health workers who are vaccinated have not reached half of the total number of health workers who have registered at the Health Office to get the vaccine, namely 130 thousand.
"In fact, our ability to inject per day is not less than 19 thousand. However, this must be adjusted to the data that must be re-validated," he said.
Therefore, Riza promised to speed up the vaccination process for these health workers.
"Hopefully, in the future it will be faster. Hopefully within a week, at the latest 10 days it will be finished (60 thousand health workers are vaccinated)," he said.
Today, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also held a second dose of vaccination for a number of figures. The injection of the second dose complements the injection of the first dose which was carried out on January 15, 2021.
The second phase of vaccine injection was held at the hall at the City Hall of DKI. The injection of the two COVID-19 vaccines was given to representatives of 3 target groups. Namely, public officials, health professional organizations, and other community leaders.
