Police Arrest 3 Himalayan Cats In Medan

MEDAN - The police arrested a young man who was stealing a Himalayan cat at the Fortune complex, Medan. Three times the perpetrator stole the cat and then sold it.

"The perpetrator we secured with the initials MA (21) is a resident of Jalan Jermal X alley Buntu, Medan Denai District," said

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Medan City Police, Iptu Ainul Yaqin told reporters, Friday, January 29.

Yaqin said that the Supreme Court's arrest began with a report by a resident named Willy Wijaya (31), a resident of Jalan Bahagia, Teladan Timur Village, Medan Kota District.

"The victim reported that his three Himalayan cats were taken away by a thief," he said.

Based on the police report, the team together with the victim immediately picked up the suspect who had been secured at the Fortune Complex Security Office.

"Next, we went to the location to secure the suspect," continued Yaqin.

To the police, MA admitted that he had done the cat theft 3 times. The first theft was on Thursday January 14 at around 03.00 WIB. This cat was sold to the Jermal XV area.

The Supreme Court carried out the second theft on Saturday 16 January and the third theft on Tuesday 19 January.

"The suspect was caught by the residents and handed over to Security, which was then secured by the personnel of the Medan City Police Criminal Investigation Unit," explained Yaqin.
