Kapolri Opens Opportunities To Place Policewomen In Strategic Positions And Interpret Cases Of Girls

JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said that his party is committed to paying attention to the handling of cases involving children and women. In fact, it will completely resolve these cases.

"Especially with regard to cases involving women and children, we will definitely pay attention to them. Yesterday has become our commitment," said Listyo at the PP Muhammadiyah office, Jakarta, Friday, January 29.

In fact, Listyo said he would pay attention to gender equality. He opened up opportunities for policewomen who would be placed in strategic positions.

"Even with regard to the rights of women, we are also one of our agenda in the future. In the future there are representatives of our policewomen who can later serve in operations," he said.

Apart from gender equality, Listyo will also pay attention to disabilities. He said he would accept those with disabilities to become the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Police.

"Including the rights and opportunities for disabilities, we provide opportunities to become civil servants if they really want to. We provide space for equality," he said.
