Following EQXX And One-Eleven, Mercedes' New EV Concept Will Be Introduced In September
JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz is one of the automotive manufacturers that will not stop presenting the latest electrification line that will be launched in the near future.
Recently, Mercedes revealed a teaser hinting at a new concept car by showing it off at the 2023 IAA Mobility event in Munich, Germany, in September.
A teaser image from the official Mercedes-Benz website, Monday, July 24, shows a concept car with a four-door sedan in red accompanied by white line accents showing the original design of this car.
Reportedly that the concept car is the preview version of the latest CLA, a luxury sedan owned by the manufacturer. What's more, the latest CLA has been caught on camera several times being tested to be presented in 2025.
With the launch of the model, the preview version of the CLA will join the ranks of other electric-powered concept cars such as Vision EQXX and Vision One-Eleven.
This makes Mercedes even more stable in producing more EV cars by 2025. Not only that, it is mentioned that three other luxury models will be introduced by Mercedes in the next three years as part of the restructuring of the compact car lineup under Electric First strategy.
The concept provides innovation, design, and leading digital experience and will take technology from the EQXX model that is able to explore far away.
It is possible that this concept car will use the same architecture as EQXX, namely the latest Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA) which presents a number of leading features.
Thus, this will simplify the entire line of manufacturer electrification and stop the A-Class model powered by combustion engines.
Mercedes also confirmed that the technology in EQXX will be present in its production model. This means these features are the latest t= the ones and are not on other cars.
"In addition to special components and technology, this includes a highly agile multidisciplinary development approach as well as software and digital devices used during the development process," said a representative from Mercedes-Benz quoted from Autocar, Monday, July 24.
