National Racers Control Elite Class BMX Indonesia Cup 2023 Series III Championships
JAKARTA The national cyclists controlled the elite class of the BMX Indonesia Cup Series III Championships, which was held at the BMX Jakarta International Circuit, Pulomas, East Jakarta on Sunday, July 23. The two riders were Amollya Nur Sifa in the women's elite class and Fasya Ahsana Rifki in the men's elite category.
The BMX Indonesia Cup series III championship was attended by 150 participants. They are divided from the 7-8 year age group to the elite. The BMX Indonesia Cup, according to the plan, will be held in 5 series until next November.
This struggle has already obtained a license from UCI, so elite class participants will get additional points. So don't be surprised if the participants also come from abroad, because this is indeed an event recognized by UCI. In the previous series, foreign participants came from the UK, United States, China, South Korea, Sigapura, Hong Kong, and Malaysia," said Angga Dwi Putra, Chairman of the 2023 BMX Indonesia Cup Committee.
In this series III apart from local participants, there were also participants from England, Singapore, and China who competed. Most participants did come from bicycle clubs on the island of Java, and some came from East Kalimantan and West Nusa Tenggara.
We are indeed trying hard to get the support of the government's sponsorship and attention, so that the BMX Indonesia Cup can continue to be sustainable. However, competition is the key to an athlete's achievement. The more competition, the more mature the athlete's performance will be. That's why the BMX Indonesia Cup is here," Angga added.
