None Of The Participants Passed The Phase 3 Selection, The KPK Has Not Found A Substitute For Febri Diansyah

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not succeeded in finding the right person as the Spokesperson to replace Febri Diansyah. This is because no one has passed the stage 3 selection involving an independent party.

"After several stages of selection were carried out involving an independent third party, based on the information we received, none of the participants had passed to the final stage," said Acting KPK spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in his written statement, Friday, January 29.

Furthermore, the KPK will again open recruitment and selection to fill the position. It's just that, Ali has not explained when the recruitment opening will take place.

"Regarding the next recruitment and selection plan for filling the position, we will convey it further," he said.

It is known, Febri Diansyah resigned from the position of spokesman for the KPK since December 2019 before resigning from the KPK in October 2020.

He was appointed spokesman for the KPK since December 2016. He replaces Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo who served 9 years and is now a member of Commission III of the Indonesian Parliament from the PDI-P Faction.

After Febri left, the position of KPK Spokesperson was replaced by two executors, namely Ali Fikri as Acting Spokesperson for Enforcement and Ipi Maryati as Acting Spokesperson for Prevention.
