Khofifah ensured that the two Kepgubs were the result of a joint agreement between the East Java Provincial Government (Pemprov), groups of motorcycle taxi drivers and online taxis, as well as applicators.
"We hope that the stipulation of the two Kepgubs can make the digital-based mass transportation ecosystem run better and prevent unhealthy competition between applicators. In addition, through this Governor Decree, it is hoped that the welfare of drivers can increase," he also said.
Governor Khofifah emphasized that the Governor's Decree that has been determined has legal force, so that anyone who violates it will be subject to sanctions.
"In addition to intensifying socialization, I have also ordered the ranks to oversee the implementation of the two Kepgub. If anyone does not comply, strict action will be taken," he said again.
