KNPI Reports Abu Janda Regarding Pigai Evolution, Denny Siregar: Let Alone Pigai, All Humans Have Not Completed The Evolution Process
JAKARTA - Social media activist, Denny Siregar responded to the report submitted by the National Youth Committee (KNPI) to Permadi Arya or Abu Janda. According to him, Abu Janda's tweet @permadiaktivis1 was not a form of racism against the activist from Papua, Natalius Pigai.
"This is @harisknpi who reports @permadiaktivis1 you must read. Because let alone Pigai, all human beings on this earth have not yet completed the evolution process. So it's funny if these words are reported as a form of racism", Denny tweeted, @Dennysiregar7.
Denny also mentioned @DivHumas_Polri for his tweet and said that the police were not stupid people who immediately accepted reports from the KNPI.
@harisknpi or Haris Pertama's account is known as the General Chair of the KNPI DPP. According to Denny, Haris must understand the risks of reporting someone. If Haris' report to the Police is not legally proven, then Abu Janda has the right to report back as a form of defamation.
"If this happens, Haris could go to jail. Don't mess with reports", tweeted Denny.
According to Denny, this pattern is common in Indonesia. report something to the Police even though they do not have sufficient evidence. "Then the buzzer moves to raise the issue. If it is rejected because it is not feasible, they will raise the issue of "being protected by the regime", "the tools of the rulers" as if their report must be accepted. That is coercion", said Denny.
Social media activist Permadi Arya or Abu Janda responded to a report by the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) against him to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Wednesday, January 27. According to him, the motive for the report was just for revenge.
This was expressed by Abu Janda via his Twitter @permadiaktivis1 while mentioning to the accounts of the Chairman of the KNPI DPP, Haris Pertama @harisknpi and the Directorate of Cyber Crime, Bareskrim Polri @CCICPolri.
"This is a political grudge. The reporter is @harisknpi, a defender of FPI. The FPI has been disbanded and he wants to revenge for Rizieq who is in prison. I am sure the police @CCICPolri can see that it cannot be used as a means of revenge", tweeted Abu Janda.
Abu Janda was reported by the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on suspicion of discrimination-based hate speech against Papuan activist Natalius Pigai.
"We have received our report, thank God, the police were cooperative. We have attached the evidence as well", said the Head of the KNPI DPP Legal Division, Medya Rischa Lubis, to reporters at Bareskrim Polri, Thursday, January 28.
"That today we have reported the Twitter account @permadiaktivis1 which is allegedly owned by Permadi Arya or Abu Janda", Medya continued.
The alleged hate speech, said Medya, was because Abu Janda's tweet using words that were deemed insulting on January 2. In the tweet, there is a sentence alluding to evolution.
"The words evolution is the bottom line for us to report the @permadiaktivis account for allegedly spreading hate speech", Medya said.
