A Total Of 2,320 Health Workers In South Sulawesi Are Vaccinated Against COVID-19
MAKASSAR - The Health Office (Dinkes) of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) noted that 2,320 health workers had been injected with the COVID-19 vaccine.
Head of South Sulawesi Health Office, dr. Muhammad Ichsan Mustari explained that the new vaccination was focused on Makassar City, Gowa Regency and Maros Regency.
It is known that these three regions are the main consideration because the percentage of vaccination in these three regions is 12.66 percent or 4.09 percent for the South Sulawesi level.
"After Makassar, Maros and Gowa. Vaccine distribution is being carried out to 21 other districts," said Ichsan Mustari in Makassar, Thursday, January 28.
Vaccination status in South Sulawesi consists of health workers who have received vaccines in each region, namely 1,759 people in Makassar City.
Then 285 people in Gowa Regency and 276 people in Maros. In addition, the total number of health workers who are still under observation or waiting is 137 people, while those who canceled receiving the vaccine were 344 people.
"Health workers who cancel receiving the vaccine are interpreted as not meeting one or more of the 16 vaccination requirements," Ichsan explained.
Based on the Decree of the Director General of Disease Prevention and Control Number HK 02.02 / 4/1/2021 concerning the Technical Implementation of Vaccination in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic, not everyone can be vaccinated.
These technical guidelines describe 15 conditions for people who cannot be vaccinated. In the special screening format for the Sinovac vaccine, there are 16 questions that must be answered by potential vaccine recipients based on the recommendations of the Association of Indonesian Internal Medicine Specialists (PAPDI).
"If one of the conditions does not meet, automatically they cannot be vaccinated," he said.
In the status of re-registration for COVID-19 vaccination, data from the South Sulawesi Health Office shows that 18,027 people have agreed to a total of 18,327 targeted health workers in three regions, namely Makassar, Maros, and Gowa.
Until now, no health workers have been unable to vaccinate after going through the results of the initial screening on the application. So that the total number of health workers who have re-registered for the COVID-19 vaccination reaches 18,027.
Meanwhile, the Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Health Office of South Sulawesi, Dr. Nurul AR, added that overall, the South Sulawesi Provincial Government is targeting the total target of health workers who must be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in South Sulawesi as many as 57,848 people. This vaccination is targeted for completion by the end of March 2021.
It is known, the South Sulawesi Health Office has begun distributing the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine to 21 districts. As many as 81,960 vaccines were sent in stages and are targeted for three days from 27 to 29 January 2021, so that the remaining stock of South Sulawesi vaccine is 520 vials (doses).
"This is done in stages. We will condition the distribution to the Selayar Islands. We hope it will be completed next Friday," said Dr. Nurul AR.
