Fire In K-Link Tower, Two People Experience Light Burns
JAKARTA - The fire broke out on the 7th floor of the K-Link Jakarta Tower, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Saturday, July 15. Head of the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syamsul Huda, said that this incident resulted in two people being injured.
"The victim suffered minor burns, Hasdi (57) chef Cafe Canai and Diah (23) victims at the scene of the Canai Cafe incident," said Syamsul in his statement, Saturday, July 15.
Syamsul then explained that the hotspots were thought to have come from a gas cylinder, a cafe on the 7th floor. Then the distribution spread to the 16th floor.
A total of 10 floors were affected by this fire. "The fire information started from the 7th floor Cafe Canai gas cylinder spreading to the videotron outside the building and spreading to the 16th floor," he said.

Previously, the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. deployed 22 fire engines and 115 personnel to extinguish the fire. The fire was known based on public reports to the Command Canter Damkar at 10.03 WIB.
Awalnta has four cars sent. However, the number has increased to 20 fire fighting fleets plus two Bronto Skylift units deployed from Central Jakarta and South Jakarta Gulkarmat.
