JAKARTA - PT. Bank Harda Internasional will soon be acquired by conglomerate Chairul Tanjung, after his company PT. Mega Corpora obtained approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on December 4, 2020, regarding this takeover.

Quoted by VOI from the official website of Bank Harda, the history of the issuer coded as BBHI began with the formation of the legal entity PT. Bank Arta Griya on October 21, 1992, which later changed its name to PT. Bank Harda Griya and was known as Bank Harda.

Bank Harda officially began operating on October 10, 1994. In 1996, Bank Harda began to expand its business by opening three sub-branches located in Fatmawati, Kelapa Gading, and Tanah Abang areas.
