DKI Dukcapil Help Verify And Validate KK Prevent PPDB Fraud
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) deployed officers at posts provided by the DKI Education Office to assist the verification and validation process (verval) of population data to prevent fraud in the 2023 New Student Admissions process (PPDB).
The verification and validation process process is carried out to check the alignment of the Family Card (KK) data used as a condition for New Student Candidates (CPDB).
"This is also an effort to anticipate the use of KK for PPDB which is not in accordance with the rules," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Dukcapil Office Budi Awaluddin as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 13.
The officer is preparing at the post during PPDB, namely 12 June-11 July 2023 to ensure that the data in the KK used is in accordance with data from the CPDB.
Based on data from the DKI Jakarta Dukcapil Office throughout 2022, there were 37,891 child-age residents (0-18 years) who moved families. Meanwhile, from January to June 2023, there were 17,712 child-age residents who moved families.

The population movement in one month before PPDB also seems to increase every year. In May 2022 there were 10,138 people, while in May 2023 there were 15,934 people who moved families.
However, in accordance with the rules, the KK that can be used for PPDB 2023 is the KK which has been issued no later than June 1, 2022.
"After the PPDB ended yesterday, we together with the Education Office immediately followed up on directions from the Acting Governor of DKI regarding cases that used the KK in PPDB," said Budi.
The DKI Provincial Government also continues to carry out comprehensive checks and ensure that the PPDB process has been carried out smoothly and according to existing regulations.
