Joko Tjandra Denies Communication Via Email With Anita Kolopaking Regarding The Red Notice

JAKARTA - The defendant in the case of alleged red notice bribery Joko Tjandra denied the expert's statement regarding the findings of communication with Anita Kolopaking via email discussing the revised red notice letter.

Joko Tjandra's denial was conveyed. After the trial, the case was officially closed by the panel of judges.

"Oh, nothing, it's my secretary, not me", said Joko Tjandra at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 28.

When asked about email, Joko Tjandra emphasized that he had never opened an email. However, he did not elaborate on this matter.

"Oh nothing", he said briefly.

Previously, it was reported that members of the digital forensic team from the National Police-Criminal Investigation Directorate, AKP Adi Setya, who was made an expert at the trial, said that they found communication between Joko Tjandra and Anita Kolopaking regarding the revised letter of red notice.

"Here at the examination of evidence 276 evidence item number 1, white iPhone evidence was confiscated from Anita Dewi A. Kolopaking", said Adi.

The form of communication, said Adi, was regarding sending documents via email. Based on the data, the contents are regarding the revised letter of red notice.

"At point C we found that it was related to an email communication information. The email was sent from A_kolopaking@yahoo.com on behalf of Anita Kolopaking sent to chanjoe89@gmail.com with the name joe chan jst. Then there was also sent to jokotjandra@gmail.com, the email is subject to the revision of the red notice letter", said Adi.

"The following is attached with the sentence 'dear Mr. Joko, I have attached the latest corrections to the above subject, please check again. Thank you for your attention", he continued.
