Misuse Of Visa, Belarusian Citizen In Bali Is Deported
JAKARTA - Two Belarusian citizens were deported from Indonesia for allegedly violating the Immigration Law, related to violating visa purposes.
The two Belarusian citizens with the initials VK and SB are a married couple. They arrived in Indonesia in February last year and have residency permits until 31 January.
Authorities said they were being deported for violating the purpose of the visa, reported coconuts.co, where both are suspected of producing and promoting bath products in Karangasem Regency, Bali.
"Based on reports from the public, both are indicated to be producing, promoting and marketing bath products," said Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office Head Jamaruli Manihuruk in a statement.
VK and SB reportedly started producing these items in August, and have sold these items, such as soap, toothpaste and shampoo, online.
The family was deported back to their home country from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, using a Turkish Airlines plane to Minsk.
