Starting To Be Repaired In September 2023, Daendels Street Will Cost IDR 133 Billion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will repair Jalan Daendels on the South Coast of Java Island. This repair is planned to take place this year.

Head of BBPJN Central Java-DIY, Rien Marlia revealed, the repair of this road is planned to begin in September 2023 to 2024. "The construction plan is in September 2023," Rien told the media quoted Monday, July 10.

As for the length of Jalan Daendels, Central Java, which will be repaired along 26.9 kilometers (km) spread from Mirit to Tambakmulyo.

"The current progress is already in preparation for tender," added Rien.

Meanwhile, the estimated funds to be disbursed in repairing this road are IDR 133.55 billion.

Rien said that the construction of this road aims to facilitate logistics routes on the South Coast (Pansela) route.

It is known that the total handling of roads in Central Java (Central Java) is 168.78 km with an occupancy of 93.72 percent, while the road for the Special Region of Yogyakarta is 118.68 km with an occupancy of 97.97.

"The value of application is based on survey data on road conditions in the second semester of 2022," said Rien.
