JAKARTA - Mesut Ozil was officially introduced by Fenerbahce, where he will get a salary of three million euros per season.
When compared with his salary at Arsenal, this figure is much lower. At the club he left this winter, Ozil earns 16 million euros per season.
Fenerbahce has released via KAP, the Public Disclosure Platform, the details of Ozil's deal, which states that the Turkish club will pay the German midfielder around 500,000 euros by the end of this season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal can receive a bonus of up to 2 million euros depending on the appearance of the 32-year-old player.
At Fenerbahce, Ozil will wear the jersey number 67, a number that identifies the license plates of the car from the Zonguldak province where his parents are from.
Born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, in 1988, Ozil started his career at Schalke. in 2010 he joined Real Madrid, before moving to Arsenal three years later.

Ozil was a Germany international until 2018 when he retired following controversy after he posed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. A photo that some people interpret as political support ahead of the country's general elections.
