RSUD Dr. Iskak Police Members Of The DPRD Who Intimidated Security Guards For Smoking In Hospital Areas

TULUNGAGUNG - Management of Dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital ensures that it provides protection for its employees who are intimidated by visitors because they try to enforce regulations regarding the provisions for visiting patients and prohibiting smoking in hospital areas / environments.

"There was an incident (voltage) involving our security personnel with visitors (backgroundd) members of the DPRD (Tulungagung). It happened on Tuesday (27/6), around 20.30 WIB," said Head of Administration of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung Eko Sudharmono quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 3.

The incident was caught on a surveillance camera (CCTV) installed in an area around the Graha Mandiri building, with a duration of 1 minute 44 seconds. The video footage of the incident involved a legislator with the hospital security officer and then went viral on social media.

"Initially, the officers reprimanded the visitor (later it was discovered that the initials JTA, a member of the Tulungagung DPRD) who was smoking in the hospital area, then entered the self-graha by bringing a minor," he said.

Allegedly not accepting being reprimanded by security officers (security guard), JTA then came to the guard and had a fight.

In the 22nd second in the video footage, JTA appears to take off the mask of the guard officer and say something to the officer.

Joko then returned to the elevator door, soon turned back to the officer and touched the head of the guard officer in the 65th second.

The officer who received the treatment was silent, while his colleague tried to reduce the atmosphere.

The guard officer did not know that he was dealing with a member of the council.

"I don't know, the security guard doesn't know either," said Eko.

The dr. Iskak Hospital has mediated the incident and is trying to resolve the case amicably.

However, there is pressure from hospital managers to provide protection to their employees while on duty.

"If you control the rules, there must be protection from management," said Eko.

Feeling unappreciated while on duty, the hospital management will take this case to court. "After this we will report it," he said.

Confirmed separately, JTA when confirmed by telephone admitted that there had been an uncomfortable situation when she made a visit to dr. Iskak Hospital with family.

However, he denied committing violence against the hospital officers, but only took off the officer's mask because his tone of speech was considered disrespectful.

"There is no (violence), I took off his mask, yes," answered JTA.

Regarding the plan to complain about the incident to the police, JTA invited if he wanted to be brought to justice. He insisted on not committing violence against the employee. He also admitted that he did not go berserk, let alone beat the hospital officer.

"Yes, it's okay to report it. I don't (do) physical violence," he said.
