Deputy Democrats Consider Yenny Wahid's Upload A Form Of Support To AHY
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman (Waketum) of the Democratic Party Benny K.Harman assessed that the upload of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) activist Yenny Wahid took a selfie with the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as a form of support for AHY.
"The upload shows that Mrs. Yenny Wahid also wants to signal to the public that Mrs. Yenny Wahid actually also supports Mr. AHY as one of the candidates in the selection of national leadership in the future," said Benny as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 3.
When asked about the appearance of the photo, it was a sign that Yenny Wahid asked AHY for his blessing to become a vice presidential candidate (readwapres), Benny admitted that he could not comment.
"Yes, ask him. Ask him," said Benny.
Benny explained that the one who determines the vice presidential candidate is Anies Baswedan, and even the presidential candidate has pocketed the name of the vice presidential candidate.
"He just opened it up and announced it to the public," he continued.
