Menpora Responds To AGO's Calls Regarding BTS Corruption Cases
JAKARTA - Menpora Dito Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo answered the summons of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) related to the corruption case "basetransceiversation" (BTS).
Dito Ariotedjo arrived at the Jampidsus Roundabout building, the Indonesian Attorney General's Complex, Jakarta, Monday, at 13.00 WIB. He was seen wearing a white shirt and a black jacket.
Separately, the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, said Dito Ariotedjo was originally scheduled to arrive at 09.00 WIB, but asked for a schedule transfer because there was an agenda that could not be abandoned.
"So he (Dito Ariotedjo) arrived on time at 13.00 WIB, today," Sumedana was quoted as saying by ANTARA, Monday, July 3.
He explained that Dito Ariotedjo was summoned by the AGO in his capacity as a witness in the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the provision of "basetransceiver station" (BTS) infrastructure and supporting infrastructure for the Kominfo for the 2020-2022 period.
The examination of Dito is the development of the results of the examination report and the defendant's indictment in this case, namely Irwan Hermawan (IH) as Commissioner of PT Solitechmedia Synergy on May 22, 2023.
"He was examined in his capacity as a witness related to the development of several minutes of examination from several witnesses and from the indictment of several witnesses who had been read out related to the suspect or who is now a defendant: IH," said Sumedana.
