About To Be CUT Into Pieces, Sacrificial Cows Rampage And Fall Into Cipinang River

JAKARTA - The cattle that were about to be slaughtered by the qurban on Eid al-Adha 2023 actually went berserk and fell into the Cipinang River on Jalan Milling Baru, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta. This incident became a spectacle for local residents.

Then residents reported to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. for the request for cattle evacuation. After officers arrived at the location, as many as 5 officers tried to catch and evacuate cows from the river. The evacuation lasted for 1 hour.

"The cow's object fell into the Cipinang River. The incident occurred when the cow was unloaded from the car," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Thursday, June 29.

The sacrificial cow suddenly went berserk when she was unloaded from the vehicle and was about to be sacrificed.

"When residents were preparing to catch them, but made the cows run towards the Cipinang river so that the cows fell into the river in Dukuh Village," he said.

Currently, the cows have been evacuated and taken to their original location to be sacrificed.

"The fire was successfully evacuated, the evacuation process used a tripod system and was assisted by residents," he said.
