JAKARTA - When Stopping Here, director Umay Shahab will hit theaters throughout Indonesia starting July 27. The film is produced by Sinemaku Pictures production house in collaboration with Legacy Pictures.Actress Prilly Latuconsina acted as a producer as well as participated in the film. When Stopping Here raises the premise of the story about the loss and the possibility that if you can return to communication with your closest people who are dead."Started with the question 'what if one day we can communicate again with those who are gone?' After the question emerged, it connected to the concept of loss," said director Umay Shahab, quoted from ANTARA, Wednesday, June 28.When Stopping Here tells the story of the romance between Anindita Semesta (Prilly Latuconsina) and Ed (Bryan Domani) which begins with a meeting of misunderstandings and then develops into an adventure that ends in romance.Four years since their meeting, Ed has been established with his architect company, while Dita is still struggling to start his career. This condition made Dita hit by an insecure feeling that unexpectedly made her often sue Ed.A tragic event happened to Ed who made him die, leaving Dita with deep sadness. After two years Dita tried to live a new life with a friend who is now her new lover named Ifan (Refal Hady).The presence of Ed's figure back in Dita's life through the legacy of his last puzzle made Dita try to learn to understand the loss and how to release Ed sincerely.A number of well-known actors and actresses across generations will star in the film including Prilly Latuconsina, Refal Hady, Bryan Domani, Lutesha Sadive, Sal Priadi, Widyawati, Cut Mini Theo, Satrya Ghozali, and others.
