4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi

The 4.5 magnitude earthquake rocked North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province (Sultra) on Wednesday, June 28 at 13.03 WITA. Coordinator of Observation and Information at Maritime Meteorological Station Kendari Faizal Habibie in Kendari, Wednesday, the earthquake was at 2.95 degrees South Cross (LS) and 122.23 degrees East Longitude (BT). "Or 33.2 kilometers northeast of Wiwirano, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi," said Faizal Habibi via WhatsApp (WA) message. He also said that the magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of 11 kilometers. Until now, it is not known for sure the cause of the 4.5 richter-scale earthquake that rocked the Earth of Oheo and it is also unknown which the earthquake was felt in any area.
