7 Members Of West Java DPRD Are Questioned By KPK About The Flow Of Indramayu Provincial Aid Funds

JAKARTA - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators questioned seven members and former members of the West Java Provincial DPRD regarding the flow of provincial aid management funds to the Indramayu Regency government in 2019.

The seven members and former members of the West Java Provincial DPRD who were examined as witnesses for the suspected former member of the West Java DPRD Abdul Rozak Muslim on Tuesday, January 26 were Eryani Sulam, Al Maida Rosa Putra, Dadang Kurniawan, Lina Ruslinawati, Hasbullah Rahmad, Ganiwati and Siti Aisyah Tuti Handayani.

It is known that Ganiwati and Siti Aisyah Tuti are members of the West Java DPRD for the 2014-2019 period. While the other five people are People's Representatives in West Java Province for the period 2019-2024.

"There are allegations of cash flows to various parties related to this case," said Acting Spokesperson for Corruption Eradication of the KPK, Ali Fikri in a written statement, Tuesday, January 26.

In addition to the question of the flow of funds, members and former People's Representatives were also questioned by investigators regarding the technical handling of banprov by members of the West Java DPRD for Indramayu Regency by confirming various documents that had been previously confiscated.

"Through the testimonies of these witnesses, the KPK investigating team is still exploring the technical matters related to Banprov management by members of the West Java Provincial DPRD for Indramayu Regency through confirming various documents that have been confiscated," he said.

It is known that the anti-corruption agency named the member of the West Java DPRD for the 2014-2019 period Abdul Rozaq Muslim as a new suspect in the case that previously charged the former Regent of Indramayu Supendi.

In this case, Abdul Rozaq allegedly received funds amounting to Rp. 8,582,500,000 which was given by transferring to an account in the name of another person.

This determination is the development of a case that ensnared the former Regent of Indramayu Supendi, Kadis PUPR Indramayu Omarsyah, Head of Roads at the PUPR Indramayu Service Wempy Triyono, and a private person named Carsa.
