Google Introduces New Google For Education Application Center!
JAKARTA - In 2019, Google introduced a Chromebook App Hub to showcase all outstanding apps that work with Chromebooks. Now, the search giant announced the Google for Education App Hub, where educators and admins can find any app connected to Google for Education products, all in one place.
The App Hub features 25 apps that are integrated with Google for Education, which offers at least one of three special features: add-on Class, School Information System (SIS) integration, and application license.
Its function is to help integrate teaching tools into tasks smoothly, simplify class and value management, as well as buy, provide, and manage applications easily.
You can filter applications based on subject, category, feature accessibility, and compliance information. On the 'See all apps' page, Hub also displays many apps that work with Chromebook and Google Workspace for Education via Google API with Slides, Documents, Drive, and more.
Not only that, Google has also announced its new partnership with Adobe to make Adobe Express for Education free for schools using Chromebooks across the US.
"And if you are a developer with a great app that you want to provide for 50 million students and teachers who use Chromebooks, you can raise your interest," said Alisa Sommer, Head of Global EdTech Partnership for Google.
