Amazon Security Lake Is Available To The Public, What Are The Benefits?

JAKARTA Amazon Web Services, Inc (AWS), Amazon.com company, Inc on Wednesday, June 21 announced that Amazon Security Lake is now publicly available.

Amazon Security Lake is a service that automatically focuses on the security of an organization from various AWS environments, leading SaaS providers, on-premises environments, and from various other cloud-based sources to Lake data.

The goal is to help customers respond to security-related data more quickly, as well as simplify similar data management in hybrid and multicloud environments.

Amazon Security Lake then converts data based on Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) open standards.

According to Amazon, security teams can also automatically collect, combine, and analyze security-related data from more than 80 sources, including AWS, security partners, and analytic providers, with higher convenience rates.

Amazon Security Lake is part of a series of AWS Cloud security services built on flexible AWS infrastructure and its safety tested. Millions of customers, including a number of organizations that have the highest demands for data security, have entrusted the AWS cloud.

"Security was our top priority from the start, precisely when we designed to meet the needs of organizations with the highest demands for security," said Jon Ramsey, Vice President for Security Services at AWS.

With more than 80 sources providing data to Amazon Security Lake, the security team is able to get a clearer picture of potential security disturbances and how to respond to them. Businesses are progressing as every workload, application, and critical data are well protected," he added

Amazon Security Lake is Lake data made specifically for security purposes. Amazon Security Lake allows customers to collect, normalize and store data so they can respond to security incidents more quickly, simplify compliance surveillance and reporting, and integrate security-related data management in hybrid and multicloud environments.

Amazon Security Lake is now publicly available in the Eastern United States (Ohio), the Eastern United States (North Virginia), the Western United States (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), and South America (Srypto Paulo), and will soon be present in other AWS Regions.
