Komnas HAM Asks The Racist Hanura Ambroncius Nababan Cadre To Go To Natalius To Be Processed By Law

JAKARTA - Komnas HAM asked the police to thoroughly process the racist case against Natalius Pigai. The reported party in this case is a cadre of the Hanura Ambroncius Nababan Party who has been questioned as a witness.

"I want to emphasize that the police must legally process the perpetrators of these racist acts. Because actions that show racist attitudes are against the law, especially Law No. 40/2008 on the Elimination of Actions, "said Komnas HAM Commissioner Amiruddin Al Rahab, Selsa, January 26.

The act of the reported party, namely Ambroncius Nababan, was considered to be contrary to human rights norms. The act of juxtaposing Natalius Pigai's photo with a gorilla was said by Amiruddin as racist behavior that undermines human dignity.

"Ambroncius Nababan's act of condescending someone with a racist tone to Natalius Pigai is an inappropriate act," said Amiruddin.

"The Police have an obligation to take legal action against Ambrocius Nababan. This action is needed so that people who have been and will behave racially in RI can be stopped, "said Amiruddin.

In this case, Ambroncius Nababan underwent an examination at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, on Monday, January 25. Before being examined he admitted that the post was his act. But the post was not intended to be offensive. But only to criticize Natalius Pigai.

"There is nothing (racist). (Just to) criticize," said Ambroncius.

The criticism, said Ambroncius, was directed at Natalius Pigai because he did not believe in the Sinovac vaccine. But his disbelief was expelled to the public. So, it can interfere with government programs.

"That Pak Pigai helps you if you disagree with Sinovac, it doesn't matter. Everyone can disagree, but don't expose you that you don't believe in Sinovac. And (mentioning) I will buy products from abroad. That's a provocation. , that's the bottom line, "he explained.

Regardless of the reasons behind it, Ambroncius admitted that the post was his doing. However, for the gorilla image encoded with Natalius Pigai's photo, Ambroncius admitted to getting it from one of his colleagues.

"And actually the picture, I actually quoted it, I copied and pasted it. That was the same time, I found Fatimah's (account) apparently. She posted that too but didn't say she was racism and I was looking for other things, apparently there were many. "But the person has never been said to be racist. But why am I the copas, people mine are called racist," said Ambroncius.
