There Is Minari In The 2020 American Film Institute Awards Top 10 Films And Series

JAKARTA - The film Minari by director Lee Isaac Chung became one of the winners of Best Film from the 2020 American Film Institute Awards.

Monday, January 25, the American Film Institute or AFI announced the Top 10 films and television series that are considered to represent culture with significant artistic depiction.

Minari is a film made by Chung which tells the story of a South Korean family who moves to the United States. This film stars Steven Yeun, Han Yeri, Yeon Yuh Jung, Alan Kim, and others.

Apart from Minari, there are two films of the late Chadwick Boseman that have entered the Top 10 list, namely Da 5 Bloods and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. There is also the Disney Pixar cartoon, Soul, which ranks here.

Through the television series category, four Netflix series dominate the Top 10, namely Bridgerton, The Crown, The Queen's Gambit, and The Unorthodox. The remainder are series produced by HBO's television channel Lovecraft Country, Showtime with The Good Lord Bird, and others. '
