Sophisticated, PT KAI Develops Train Maintenance Technology Based On Artificial Intelligence
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) will develop technology for maintenance of trains based on artificial intelligence (AI). This plan is an adaptative step and part of the KAI 2021 program.
"We plan to develop a digitalization of artificial intelligence-based facility maintenance," said KAI's Managing Director, Didiek Hartantyo, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 26.
Adaptive steps, continued Didiek, are encouraged by economic recovery in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still endemic to this day. Covering digital transformation, organization and business processes.

In 2021, KAI will add KAI Access features and use big data to find out customer interests and habits, so that KAI can serve and deliver services according to customer wishes.
In addition, KAI will develop applications for train operations so that they can make officers more efficient while ensuring smooth train operations.
The use of applications is also implemented, including to facilitate maintenance and monitoring of facilities and infrastructure.
KAI is also innovating to increase the use of new and renewable energy by continuing to test the use of B100 in train generators. B100 is 100 percent biodiesel based on palm oil, so it will be more environmentally friendly.
