Attorney General's Office Receives IDR 350 Billion To Rebuild The Burned Main Building
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has received a budget allocation of IDR 9.5 trillion in 2021 plus hundreds of billions of IDR to rebuild the main building which was burned down in August 2020.
"The AGO has obtained a budget allocation ceiling for 2021 of approximately Rp. 9.5 trillion with an additional budget of Rp. 350 billion which is used for the construction of the main building of the Attorney General's Office," said Attorney General ST Burhanuddin during the Joint Working Meeting of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives which was broadcast on the YouTube account of the Indonesian Parliament. , Tuesday, January 26.
Burhanuddin also explained that the realization of the budget reached Rp. 6.8 trillion from the total 2020 budget of Rp. 6.99 trillion. This means that the budget that has been absorbed by the Attorney General's Office in 2020 will reach 98.34 percent.
Meanwhile, the realization of the non-tax budget amounted to Rp934.8 billion or reached 167.88 percent of the total target of Rp556.8 billion.

This fire originated from the 6th floor of the meeting room of the Personnel Bureau of the Attorney General's Office and then quickly spread to another room and is said to have started with a cigarette butt that was thrown away carelessly.
The fire case in the main building of the Attorney General's Office was further investigated and investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes, Bareskim Polri examined 64 witnesses and asked for information from 10 experts from various well-known universities.
Furthermore, the National Police named eight suspects, namely five craftsmen with the initials T, H, S, K and IS. Then a foreman with the initials UAN, Managing Director of PT ARM initials R and the Attorney General's Office of Commitment (PPK) officials with the initials NH.
