Not True Rizieq Is Seriously Ill, Former FPI Official: He Has A Stomachache
JAKARTA - Former Deputy General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Aziz Yanuar, said Rizieq Shihab's health was in the process of recovery. It is not true that Rizieq Shihab is seriously ill.
"Not true (seriously ill), still recovering," said Aziz to VOI, Tuesday, January 26.
Aziz said Rizieq Shihab's health recovery was because he previously complained of stomach pain. In addition, Rizieq also complained about his breathing.
"He is sick and has not fully recovered, he has a stomachache which causes him to become congested," said Aziz.
But with the treatment by a team of police doctors, Rizieq's condition is gradually improving. So, it is hoped that Rizieq will recover from his illness.
"But the handling of Dokkes (Health Doctors) Police Headquarters is good, so we are grateful," he said.
Previously it was reported that the National Police Headquarters denied the news about Rizieq Shihab who was seriously ill. Based on the police doctor's medical examination, the person concerned was declared healthy.
"His condition is in good health. So if there are issues of serious illness, all kinds of things are lying," said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Monday, January 25.
Argo said Rizieq Shihab's health condition was continuously monitored by a team of doctors from the National Police. So that based on medical records, Rizieq was not sick as stated by other parties.
"The current condition of MRS is in perfectly healthy condition and always gets the best service, especially health from Bareskrim Polri," said Argo.
