DPR Plenary Meeting, Puan Receives 2022 Central Government Financial Examination Result Report From BPK
JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, received an Examination Report (LHP) on the 2022 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) from the Financial Audit Agency (BPK).
The LHP LKPP was received by Puan while chairing the 27th DPR Plenary Meeting for the V Session Period for the 2022-2023 Session Year, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 20.
"The report on the results of the examination of the central government's financial statements was submitted by the BPK to the DPR RI and DPD RI no later than two months after receiving financial reports from the central government," said Puan.
In the plenary session, it was also conveyed the Summary of Semester II Examination Results (IHPS) in 2022, as well as the submission of the Semester II Examination Result Report (LHP) in 2022.
The IHPS contains findings of examinations totaling IDR 25.85 trillion, with details of findings related to inefficiency, inefficiencies, and ineffectiveness (3E) of IDR 11.2 trillion, as well as findings of non-compliance of IDR 14.65 trillion.
In addition, BPK RI also submitted a Fiscal Transparency Implementation Review Report which in general shows that the Government has met most of the criteria for fiscal transparency based on international best practices.
Furthermore, he said, the DPR has an obligation to discuss and follow up on the results of the examination by the BPK RI in accordance with Law Number 42 of 2014.
"The DPR has the task of discussing and following up on the results of the examination of the management and responsibility of state finances submitted by the BPK," he said.
In addition, the DPR also received the results of an examination of infrastructure strengthening which showed problems, for example, the management of toll road concession assets. Among them, 87.90 million cubic meters (m2) of land on 33 toll roads have not been certified.
Therefore, BPK recommends the government to collect data, re-investigate and complete the land certification process on the toll road section.
Furthermore, the DPR received the results of an examination of the management of state capital participation (PMN) in BUMN concluding that the management of State Equity Participation (PMN) in BUMN in 2020-semester I in 2022 had been carried out according to the criteria with exceptions.
"Furthermore, the report on the results of the BPK examination will be followed up according to the applicable mechanism. The council would like to thank you for the cooperation that has been well established so far," he said.
Based on notes from the Secretariat General of the DPR, 45 members of the council were physically present, 251 members of the council were present virtually, and 162 members of the permit council.
"So that there are 458 and attended by members of all factions in the DPR. Thus the quorum has been achieved," said Puan.
Apart from Puan, the Plenary Meeting was also attended by Deputy Speakers of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco, Lodewijk F Paulus, and Rachmat Gobel.
