Continuing His 'Administration', Donald Trump Opens Private Office In Florida
JAKARTA - Former President of the United States (US) Donald Trump opened a private office in Florida, United States on Monday, January 25 local time. This was disclosed in a written statement.
The office was said to be used by Trump to carry out his activities as a former president, while continuing his administration's unfinished agenda.
"The office will be responsible for managing President Trump's correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and for carrying out the Trump Administration's agenda through advocacy, organizing and public activism," the statement read.
The announcement came on the same day that the US House of Representatives sent the Senate an impeachment article accusing Trump of inciting rebellion in a speech to supporters before the deadly attack on the Capitol on January 6.
A source said the first step to be taken from the office in the Palm Beach Area, Florida is to support the nomination of former Trump Press Secretary while serving as president, Sarah Huckabee Sanders in the candidacy for Governor of Arkansas.
