Harry Potter Television Series In Production

JAKARTA - Fans who miss the Harry Potter franchise seem to be cured soon. The live action Harry Potter television series is in production at HBO Max.

Today, Tuesday, January 26, citing The Hollywood Reporter, WarnerMedia executives are exploring various ideas that can be used as the basis for the Harry Potter series.

However, neither writer nor player are mentioned in this news. Since this production is still in its early stages, no agreement has been made.

"There is no Harry Potter series in development in the studio or streaming service," read Warner Bros. and HBO Max statements.

Harry Potter is one of Warner Bros.'s most beloved works. Adapted from the novel by JK Rowling, the Harry Potter film franchise has received a lot of support and profits of more than 7 million trillion US dollars worldwide.

JK Rowling, who had received blasphemy about transgender people, still owns the copyright of Harry Potter. Most likely he will be involved in the serial production process.

Harry Potter players have also not yet raised their voices about the making of this series considering that some of them had arguments with JK Rowling regarding his comments.

HBO Max pursues a similar strategy to the films and series under Warner Media, such as the Friends special, the Game of Thrones spin off, and the Sex and the City series.
