Called By Jokowi To Discuss Jakarta Air Pollution, Minister Of Environment And Forestry Arrives At The Palace
JAKARTA - Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya Bakar fulfills the summons of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Siti was summoned to discuss various things, one of which is about air pollution.
The official car of the Minister of Environment and Forestry with the number 38 plate was seen parked at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, June 16 afternoon.
Deputy for Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin confirmed Siti's presence on Jokowi's orders.
"It's true, the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Mrs. Siti Nurbaya, was summoned by the President regarding air pollution," Bey said in a written statement, Friday, June 16, which was confiscated by Antara.
To note, over the last few days the air quality in Jakarta has again received attention because it occupies the top three cities with the worst quality in the world.

While the red indicator refers to unhealthy air quality compared to other cities in the world. Then, purple means very unhealthy air, black means dangerous, yellow means moderate, and green means good.
