Fatigue And Injury, Three Climbers Of Mount Nokilaki Were Evacuated By The SAR Team
The joint SAR team evacuated three climbers on Mount Nokilaki, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province who were injured so that assistance was taken. "One of the climbers was injured. It was reported that the three were at the second post of Mount Nokilaki, and the Palu SAR office received a report on Saturday at 23:05 WITA, on the report the SAR team rushed to the foot of Mount Nokilaki using an operational vehicle about 50 kilometers from the Palu SAR Office.
Arriving at the location, the team immediately made preparations to climb to the second post of Nokilaki to carry out evacuation activities.
"The joint SAR team departed from post one or foot of Mount Nokilaki to post two. The joint SAR consisted of seven Basarnas personnel, six potential SAR people and a number of local residents," he said.
During the evacuation process, the team had brought a number of "mountenering" equipment, medical equipment, communication equipment and other supporting equipment.
It was reported that one of the climbers had to be carried on a stretcher because he could not walk due to an injury to the leg, and the evacuation was carried out on Sunday (red) in the morning.
"All the victims were successfully evacuated safely. The injured victims were rushed to Tojugalo Hospital in Sigi Regency for medical treatment," said Andrias.
He appealed to people who like to climb to pay attention to the security side, by preparing physically and logistics so that conditions do not occur that endanger life safety.
"Doing climbing activities requires "safety" and that is an absolute requirement. With the success of evacuating the three victims, the SAR operation is declared complete," said Andrias.
