Police Check Jambi Comedian Allegedly Negative Comments To Middle School Students Criticizing Mayor

JAMBI - Jambi Regional Police (Polda) examined comedian from Jambi Deby Ceper who allegedly gave negative comments to SFA Jambi City Junior High School students through Instagram social media.

The Jambi comedian was reported by SFA to the Jambi Regional Police regarding comedian comments for SFA on the Instagram account of one of the social media in Jambi for allegedly commenting negatively or disrespectfully.

"Now in the process, clarification is being taken. So the goal is to find out what the meaning and purpose of his comment (Debi Ceper) is. Therefore, the material that was reported or submitted by SFA," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police, Kombes Christian Tory, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 7.

Debi Ceper, wearing a blue plaid motif shirt, underwent an examination by the Investigation Team of the Sub-Directorate V Cyber Crime of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police.

Furthermore, said Tory, his party still has to see the results of developments. Because this is a complaint report and the status of the investigation process.

Then, later it will be clarified and will ask for opinions from several parties regarding this reporting issue.

After the clarification and collection stage, we will proceed to the case title process

"There later we will carry out a case title to be able to determine whether this can be fingerprinted or not," he said.

He said the Jambi Regional Police would first look at the results of the investigation process before proceeding to the case title.

Previously, the SFA of this junior high school student had also been reported by the Jambi City Government to the Jambi Regional Police regarding a video of his criticism for the City Government, which contained inappropriate words.

For this incident, mediation was carried out to the Jambi City Government and SFA and ended peacefully. Furthermore, the Jambi City Government has also withdrawn their report against SFA.
