YOGYAKARTA In the world of work, people with disabilities have the same rights as non-disabilities. This equality is even regulated in the rules and must be fulfilled by all companies or employers. So what rights for workers with disabilities should be given?

In the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), disability is defined as a condition that limits mental and physical abilities, as well as physical limitations for a long period of time.

Understanding persons with disabilities in the world of work is also explained in Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. The law explains that anyone who experiences physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations over a long period of time interacting with the environment can experience obstacles and difficulties in participating fully and effectively with other citizens based on equal rights.
