Police Arrest Student In Makassar Who Killed Baby
Police officers finally arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a 20-year-old baby with the initials IN who was known to be a student at a university in Makassar City, South Sulawesi.
"The perpetrator was arrested in the Bontomannu area, Gowa after the team conducted an investigation and asked for information from residents," said Head of the Gowa Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Bachtiar as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 5.
From the confession of the suspect IN, he is the mother of the baby who had the heart to kill her baby in an empty house in Baddo Hamlet, Je'ne Mandinging Village, Pattalasang District, Gowa Regency on March 24, 2023.
The perpetrator at that time gave birth in a local empty house without anyone's help. After giving birth, for fear of the sound of the baby being heard by residents, the perpetrator allegedly smothered her so that she would not speak up, but unfortunately the victim could not breathe and then died.
Panicked, he couldn't do much and put the poor baby in the empty house, then just left him. A few hours later the perpetrator even returned to see his son, then left.
The poor baby was allegedly the result of sexual intercourse and was unofficial with his girlfriend. Because she was embarrassed to be pregnant for up to nine months, the perpetrator's lover did not seem to want to be responsible, so the suspect finally gave birth in an empty house.
