Mataram Police Investigate Causes Of Dozens Of Food Poisoning Residents
MATARAM - Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara, investigated the causes of dozens of residents in Sempange Bee Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, suspected of having been poisoned after eating packaged rice.
"Now we are still investigating the police reports we received from the initial handling at the Narmada Police. We just received this afternoon," said Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 5.
Dalam rangkaian penyelidikan untuk mengungkap adanya unsur pidana pada peristiwa yang terjadi, Minggu (4/6), dalam kegiatan penguluhan dari Setunan Universitas Qhamarul Huda Bagu (Uniqhba), dia memastikan akan ada permintaan klarifikasi kepada para pihak.
"It's not only the victims who experience heartburn, vomiting, heartburn and weakness, later there will also be information from doctors and the POM Center as well, because those who are experts, can explain whether there is poison in this food," he said.

Therefore, Yogi also ensured that his party also studied the information on the results of the initial findings from the Narmada Police.
"Yes, including packaged rice, noodles and tempeh which allegedly caused the victims to be rushed to the hospital. We will test all of that later in the POM Center laboratory," he said.
By conveying this, Yogi assured that in handling this case his party had not secured or named a suspect.
"Still investigating. Later, when there are results from experts, laboratory tests, whether there is an element of intent or not, it will be seen in this investigation," he said.
