Congestion Around The Arjuna Horse Statue Impact Of Labor Demonstration, 2432 Police Personnel Take Care

Central Jakarta Metro Police officers diverted the flow in the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue area, Monas, Central Jakarta, due to demonstrations from labor elements.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said his party had carried out a diversion process in two directions to Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat.

Vehicles that want to cross Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat are directed to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan and Budi Kemuliaan.

"To the general public, today there are several points of action in the central Jakarta area both in the DPR, and also including Gambir, Menteng. Therefore, we are very forced to divert several traffic flows, especially in the Monas area, Medan Merdeka Barat, we will transfer them," said Kombes Komarudin when confirmed, Monday, June 5.

Kombes Komarudin appealed to the public to avoid this route to prevent the accumulation of vehicles. Residents who want to pass are advised to pass through other routes.

"The protesters please express their opinions in an orderly manner, and we from the police are ready to provide escort and service for the course of action or community activities," he said.

In addition to the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue area, Monas, a demonstration was also held in the DPR/MPR RI Building area from the mass of medical personnel. In order to oversee the running of these two actions, thousands of joint officers were deployed.

"Today, a total of 2432 personnel have been deployed, including those at Monas," he said.
