Minbus Accident On The Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road, One Chinese Citizen Dies

TANGERANG - Minibus had a traffic accident on the Jakarta-Tangerang KM 21+100 toll road. As a result, one passenger from a foreign national (WNA) from China, Chen Dong Shen, died.

Head of the Bitung Toll Road PJR, AKP Suwito, said the incident occurred at 13:46 WIB, Saturday, June 3.

"Yes, that's right, the number of victims was 2 people, one (person) died Mr. Chen Dong Sheng (passenger)," said Suwito in his statement, Saturday, June 3.

Suwito recounted that the bus started with plate number B 7219 BDA driven by I was driving from Tangerang to Jakarta. Allegedly, the driver was sleepy so he was sleepy, so he hit the vehicle in front of him

"It is suspected that the driver fell asleep and then hit the vehicle in front of him with no identity (not registered number). The final position of the vehicle is normal on the shoulder of the road facing the east," he said.

After that, the officers immediately evacuated all the victims of the accident and rushed to the hospital to get help.

"The case will continue to be handled by the South Tangerang Metro Police," he said.
