1,897 Prospective Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims Arrive In Makkah From Medina
A total of 1,897 Indonesian pilgrims who are members of five groups have reached Makkah after departing for the first time from Medina.
Chairman of the Saudi Arabia Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) 1444 Hijri, Subhan Cholid together with hotel managers welcomed the arrival of pilgrims for SOC 1 embarkation Hajj candidates accompanied by hadroh and various decorations in the hotel lobby.
"Alhamdulillah, physically they are healthy, fit and very happy to be able to arrive in the Holy City of Mecca," said Subhan Cholid in Makkah, Thursday, June 2, quoted by Antara.
A total of five groups arrived in Makkah, namely from Jakarta Pondok Gede (JKG 01), Solo (SOC) 01, Makassar (UPG) 01, Aceh (BTJ 01) and Medan (KNO 01).
Subhan said the committee had prepared a Shalawat bus transportation facility to transport pilgrims who would perform their first Umrah.
"Whenever the Umrah pilgrims want to transport the Shalawat bus, they are ready to serve the Grand Mosque," said Subhan.
Meanwhile, one of the guides of the recitation of Mecca Rahmatillah said Umrah would be adjusted to the conditions of the congregation.
"For those who use wheelchairs, they can perform Umrah after dawn," said Rahmatillah.
Worship supervisors will accompany the congregation, one of which is while on a bus, besides that, to continue educating the congregation to prioritize mandatory worship first compared to sunnahs to maintain physical fitness ahead of the peak of the pilgrimage.
