Viral Video Of The Ambush Of A Half-Billion Money Robber Gang In Ciamis, Shots Are Released Repeatedly

JAKARTA - The video of the ambush of a gang of robbers in Ciamis, West Java has gone viral on social media. The police ambushed the robber of half a billion who was in the car.

In the video recorded, a number of police officers ambushed a car carrying a gang of robbers. The people in the car were asked to get out. Several times the sound of warning shots was heard in the robber's ambush in Ciamis.

The ambush of 5 members of the Rp563 million robbery gang was carried out by the Semarang Police, Central Java. They robbed money brought by the oil and gas company Trical Langgeng Jaya, Semarang on Monday, January 18.

Kapolrestabes Semarang Kombes Irwan Anwar said the police arrested the robber when he fled to Ciamis, West Java.

The four perpetrators were Rahmat (39), Frans Panjaitan (36), Maftuhi (25), and Vidi Kondian (30), the four were residents of Central Lampung.

Another actor who acted as a guide was identified as Moch Agus Irawan (38), a resident of Bandarjo, Ungaran, Semarang Regency.

Currently, the police are still hunting down another perpetrator named Susanto (39), a resident of Gayamsari, Semarang City, who is suspected of being an insider in the crime.

Irwan explained that the perpetrator admitted that he had planned the robbery for about 2 months.

"These perpetrators have come to Semarang since January 7 to conduct observations," said Kombes Irwan as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 22.

The perpetrator even stole the two motorbikes that were used when he stole the company's money.

After taking action, the perpetrators fled to the City of Salatiga and Yogyakarta.

On the way to escape, the perpetrator shared the money he had made Rp90 million per person.

Together with the perpetrators, the police secured evidence of three homemade firearms as well as Rp290 million left over from the robbery which the perpetrators were still keeping. As a result of their actions, the perpetrators were charged under Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft.
