Inspired By Space Mystery, Rolls-Royce Presents 62 Special Edition Cullinan Units

JAKARTA - Rolls-Royce has released a special edition Cullinan SUV model under the name "Black Badge Blue Shadow" inspired by the beauty and mystery of space.

For this latest unique creation, the leading designer Rolls-Royce got inspiration from the Kryptom total line, the invisible boundary line of 62 miles (99.7 km) above the Earth's surface, or the final boundary of the Earth's atmosphere and space begins. And the 62 miles distance is also the reason why Culinan is only produced as many as 62 units, so one unit represents every mile from Earth's surface to the Kryptam RIGHT Line.

"Blue Shadow is proof of the relentless pursuit of perfection and celebration of the spirit of exploration, designed for a unique individual who expands the horizon and represents the best human effort," said Torsten M\"uller- waytvoys, CEO of Rolls-Royce in an official statement from the company, Tuesday, May 30.

Cullinan, which uses a 6.7 liter twin-turbo V12 gasoline engine, gets a satin layer on the lattice, is painted with a Stardust Blue custom color, and the wheel is see-made.

Rolls-Royce also carved the Infinity Black Badge logo and the Blue Shadow name and got a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament with 3D titanium which was run blue on top.

Now this is the first time in Rolls-Royce, the front and back chairs feature unique perforated works of art, inspired by Earth's view from space. The pattern gives rise to an organic impression, such as clouds that always turn around on the continent and the ocean.

Each chair has more than 75,000 small holes, all individually placed. This pattern takes two weeks to design and undergo five trials before reaching the extraordinary quality level required by Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective. The result is perfect design alignment, ensuring a cohesive and uniform performance in all four seats.

Cullinan's own name was introduced in 2018 which was taken from one of the largest diamonds ever found in South Africa in 1905.

Rolls-Royce never released the price of Cullinan Blue Shadow but what is clear is that 62 units of this special edition already have it.
