JAKARTA - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono emphasized that he was in good health and was not exposed to COVID-19 after having had an activity with Sleman Regent Sri Purnomo who was tested positive. This certainty after he did a swab test.

The former Deputy Minister of Defense admitted that he was sad to hear the news that Sri Purnomo was exposed to and wished him a speedy recovery.
"It's sad to hear the news that Sleman Regent Sri Purnomo has been confirmed positive for corona. I had time to do activities with him earlier this week. Hopefully he will recover soon," he said.
"Keep maintaining health protocols and increase immunity," added Trenggono.
As previously reported, the Regent of Sleman, Sri Purnomo, announced that he was positive for COVID-19. A week earlier, Sri Purnomo was also injected with the COVID-19 vaccine.
"I tested positive for COVID-19 after I underwent 2 series, where yesterday afternoon I tested positive for rapid antigen, followed by PCR swab this morning the results came out positive," said Sri Purnomo in a video quoted by VOI, Thursday, January 21. .
"Then on the CT scan, our thorax results are good, it's okay and I am currently without any symptoms. Only on Wednesday night we coughed and the temperature rose slightly to the 37.6 Celsius position, "he continued.
The Sleman Regent appealed to residents to adhere to health protocols by wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing their hands with soap as often as possible.
