Since The COVID-19 Pandemic, A Total Of 6.6, Million People Have Reportedly Recovered
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force said there were 829 people recovered from infections caused by the Corona virus as of May 29, 2023. The total number of recovered patients from Coronavirus infections in Indonesia has reached 6,631,947 cases since the first Corona virus was announced on March 2, 2020. Based on the number of recovered cases today, West Java became the area with the highest cases of recovery in Indonesia which reached 255 cases. Then, there were 162 cases in Jakarta, East Java 64 cases, and Banten 59 cases recovered. The COVID-19 Handling Task Force also stated that only 256 cases were recorded positive, so positive confirmed cases became 6,806,54 cases. The highest number of positive vaccinations contributed to the statistics of increasing positive cases was Jakarta as many as 71 cases, West Java 63 cases, East Java 20 cases, and Central Java 17 cases, as well as Banten 16 cases. On this day, the number of active cases was recorded at 588 cases, suspect 489 cases, and there were 15 cases. The number of residents who had received the first vaccination was recorded at 203.84 million people, the second vaccination was 174.89 million, the third vaccination was 68.84 million people, and the fourth vaccination was 3.18 million people. The Ministry of Health appealed to people who have not completed primary and booster vaccines to be able to use any type of vaccine available in various nearby health facilities. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Mohammad Syahril said the use of various types of available COVID vaccines was aimed at facilitating the community to complement the dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
