Benelli Prepares Tornado 402 To Compete With These Three Motorcycles In The European Market

JAKARTA - Since being acquired by a large two-wheeled company from China, Qianjiang, Benelli has offered various kinds of motorcycle products to the global market.

One of the motorbikes Benelli will bring for sale to the global market is Tornado 402. The full-fair sport bike will venture into the European market after it was previously released in China.

Reporting from Rideapart, Sunday, May 28, Benelli Tornado 402 is expected to be a rival to KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400, and Honda CBR500R to enter the sport bike segment.

Tornado 402 has a sporty design but is suitable for users in urban areas. This motorbike is equipped with a single swing-arm, LED lights, and an aggressive display.

As a premium sportbike, Benelli pinned a reverse front fork from Marzocchi and a monoshock in the middle.

In addition, Tornado 402 is equipped with a full color TFT screen, and presents an ABS system that makes it easier for motorists to control their motorbikes.

In terms of performance, Tornado 402 is equipped with a 399 cc engine, liquid-cooled, fuel injection, and twin parallel engines. With an eight-valve engine, the sport bike can produce 47.5 dk and a 35 Nm torque that has the same performance as Kawasaki Ninja 400.

The manufacturer has not disclosed the price of Tornado 402, it is estimated that Benelli will set a price below the price of its competitors.
