2 Fishermen Who Drowned In The Waters Of Bedukang Bangka Found Dead
The joint SAR team found and evacuated two fishermen who drowned in the waters of Bedukang, Deniang Village, Riau Silip District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands, in a state of death.
Head of the Regional Management Agency (BPBD) of Bangka Regency, Ridwan, said two fishermen found dead, namely A Nam (60) and A Yim (54).
"A Nam (60) was found in the waters at 10.30 WIB and Yim was found at 11.13 WIB. The two victims were then evacuated and immediately taken to the Bahrin Sungailiat Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for an autopsy by the medical team," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 29.
The joint SAR team involved in the search included Basarnas Pangkalpinang, BPBD Bangka Regency, Bhabinkamtibmas, Tagana. volunteers, and local fishermen.
The two fishermen on Sunday (28/5) at 16.30 WIB left for Bedukang beach to catch fish. However, until Monday (29/5) at 04.00 WIB they had not returned home. Therefore, the victim's family searched around the place where they usually caught fish and found the victim's motorbike on the beach.

The victim's family then reported the incident. Subsequently, a search was carried out on the victim by the joint SAR team.
During the search process, the joint SAR team assisted by local fishermen conducted a sweep of the waters using rubber boats.
"Finally, the joint SAR team managed to find the two victims dead," he said.
