Electricity Supply For The Indonesian Grand Prix Motocross Race, PLN Make Sure Without Flickering

PT PLN (Persero) is ready to supply reliable electricity for the Indonesian Motocross or Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) world championship in 2023. PLN also ensures electricity services without flickering or zero down time during the event.

The world prestigious motorcycle race is planned to be held in two series from 23 to 25 June 2023 at the Samota Sumbawa MXGP Circuit and at the MXGP Lombok Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) from 1 to 2 July 2023.

General Manager of PLN NTB Regional Main Unit Sudjarwo ensured PLN's commitment to providing stable and reliable electricity supply in the track area and other supporting locations during the event.

We are ready to make the MXGP event a success which will be held in Indonesia with quality electricity without flickering (zero down time) during the racing event. Because the success of this MXGP will be a matter of pride for all Indonesian people. We are committed to providing optimal and reliable electricity, supporting the two Indonesian MXGP series to be successful," said Sudjarwo, in Jakarta, Sunday, May 28.

Sudjarwo explained, PLN also carried out strategic steps to ensure stable and reliable electricity supply in the track area and the location of racing supporters.

Among other things, by carrying out routine maintenance, improving infrastructure to overcome potential electrical disturbances that can hinder the running of the MXGP event. Including strengthening the power grid system, maintaining the Humbung Substation (GH), to ensuring that supporting materials have been installed.

"Towards the implementation of less than two months, we have done various jobs to support the optimization of the availability of electricity supply," said Sudjarwo.

In addition, he said, PLN also synergizes with various parties ranging from event organizers, security, local governments in an effort to secure reliable electricity supply at MXGP. He also ensured that trained and experienced technical teams had been assigned to handle all aspects of electricity at the event.

Sudjarwo is also optimistic, although preparations are only for about two months, PLN is able to deliver reliable electricity supply during the event. Thus, it can make a real contribution in creating unforgettable experiences for motocross racing fans by presenting reliable and safe electricity.

"With our experience of providing electrical support at the MXGP event the previous year, PLN is ready to succeed in the 2nd series of MXGP events in NTB Province. We also ask for prayers and support from all stakeholders and the community, so that PLN is able to provide the best service for West Nusa Tenggara," concluded Sudjarwo.
