Minister Of Health Terawan Bekali 238 Indonesians Observed In Natuna, Health Certificate
JAKARTA - As many as 238 Indonesian citizens (WNI) who underwent a two-week observation period in Natuna, due to concerns over the corona virus had arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the family who had been waiting since morning.
Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto said that Indonesian citizens arrived in Jakarta using three planes. Women and children board a Boeing 737 while men board a Hercules plane.
"So I was with them on one plane earlier. So it was paid off first. I was the first to pick up the first one, now the one who goes home and is in good health," said Minister of Health Terawan to the media crew, Saturday, February 15.
Minister of Health Terawan also said that the atmosphere of meeting with family in the South Terminal of Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport was very touching. "All are happy, it is very touching because they are all happy to meet their families in the village in a very healthy condition."
Furthermore, Terawan emphasized that 238 Indonesian citizens from Wuhan were in good health so that people didn't have to worry. The Ministry of Health also provides Indonesian citizens with certificates to prove their health status.
"All Indonesian citizens have also been equipped with the results of health certification from the results of the inspection by the government. They also received monitoring during the observation period," explained Terawan.
The arrival of Indonesian citizens who had undergone an observation period in Natuna was also accompanied by a representative team from the World Health Organization (WHO). They said that the steps the Indonesian government had taken were very good. Because it concerns the health of its citizens in Wuhan, China.
"The Indonesian government has been very good. In handling and serving those who were evacuated from China regarding Corona. They have gone through procedures that are well obeyed. So we can be sure that the participants of this observation are healthy," said Dr. Paranietharan as WHO Representative team for Indonesia.
